Center for Materials Processing and Failure Analysis (CMPFA) is a business unit under Dept. Metallurgy and Material Engineering Universitas Indonesia with organization chart describe below. As Government Regulation No. 68 UI on Chapter II Part One about Status, Domicile, and anniversary, Universitas Indonesia is a state-owned higher education legal entity that autonomously manages academic and non-academic sectors. Therefore, all activities in CMPFA based on UI Regulation. As business unit under the Dept. Metallurgy and Material, the existence was fully knowledge by the decree of Rector of the Universitas Indonesia No. 1750/SK/R/UI/2019.
As a specialized unit of the Department of Metallurgy and Materials Engineering, Universitas Indonesia, CMPFA delivers high-precision materials testing for industry. Backed by ISO/IEC 17025 accreditation, our test reports are internationally recognized, reflecting our commitment to quality, accuracy, and impartiality.
Since 2012, CMPFA has completed over 1,000 failure analysis investigations for industries nationwide, leveraging advanced laboratories and expert specialists to improve reliability and reduce costs.
Since 2000, CMPFA has delivered over 400 training programs in metallurgy and materials engineering, supporting the development of skilled professionals for various industries.
